"Save Us UltraViolet"(SUUV for short) is an AFA funded experimental film project that is spilling into the real world through performance art, participation and installation. SUUV is about a coven of witches who worship UltraViolet, the spirit of creativity, genius and innovation. They believe that by summoning her from the invisible spectrum, they will save the world and its people from its current state of toxic and hateful energy.

"SUUV Act 1-The Conjuring" was presented March 16, 2019 as part of the Hibernation Project curated by Caitlind Brown and Wayne Garret. This performance was a first introduction to the wider SUUV project, with a set of 3 witches (Leslie Bell, Camille Betts and Jennifer Crighton) chanting to the super moon to call on the spirit of UltraViolet to enter into the world. For this performance, the real moon was projected into the basement through a live video feed. (photos courtesy of Caitlind Brown,Sean technical support by Alex Moonsey and Sean Chamberlain).
